Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) first came into confirmed existence on the night of 5-8-2013 while raiding the Indian Patrol Team on Indian Territory. BAT is a group of Special Forces with some highly trained terrorists specifically employed for Trans-LoC action upto a depth of 1 to 3 kilometres.Its primary task is to dominate the LoC by carrying out minor disruptive actions in the form of clandestine raids as was marked on 6 August, 2013. The raids as usual are carried out after perfect planning and cautious scouting as well as high assurance of success. The raiding BATs cannot be caught on the Indian side or their cover will be blown-up. ^[1] . No such team has ever been recognised by either Pakistan or by any other country. All reports of the existence of such teams have come from Indian media . Such reports can be doubted due to the fact that India has many times tried to present Pakistan as a harbour of terrorism at many platforms , all such tries have remained fruitless as no realistic and concrete evidence has been provided by India on the matter .
