The episodes for the fourteenth season of the anime series Naruto: Shippuden are based on Part II for Masashi Kishimoto's manga series. The season follows Naruto helping the ninja alliance fight against Kabuto's army. It was directed by Hayato Date, and produced by Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo.[1]
The season aired from January to July 2013.[2] On January 2, 2009, Viz Media and Crunchyroll began providing subtitled episodes for the series.[3] The English version of the season aired for Neon Alley on May 30, 2015. The DVD version was released on September 4, 2013 under the title of The Fourth Great Ninja War - Assailants From Afar (忍界大戦・彼方からの攻撃者, Ninkai Taisen - Kanata kara no Kōgekisha).
