Kosh Ba Kosh (Russian: Кош-ба-кош) AKA Odd and Even is a 1993 Russian-Tajik film directed by Bakhtyar Khudojnazarov.
Plot summary
Young Tadjikistanian Mira is living in West Russia. When she returns to her home town Dushanbe, she has to learn that her father just lost her to another old man gambling. While hiding from the gambler who eagerly claims his prize, Mira meets the local cable car driver Daler whom she falls in love with.
Filming location
The film was shot in the Tadjikistan capital Dushanbe and is overshadowed by the gun fire of the civil war that broke out in during the shooting.[1]
