@[[User:AuroralColibri]], so where is your reliable source for this statement?: "...is a pejorative epithet used in Mexico to describe an individual who holds a far-left ideology." Also, the news portal Aristegui Noticias, the source I used [https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Chairo_(slang)&diff=774000301&oldid=773990082 here], was the [https://www.icfj.org/knight-international-journalism-award-winners recipient of the Knight International Journalism Award] by the [[International Center for Journalists]] in 2016, so how is this not a reliable source?.

Original research and reliable sources

@User:PsytranceGuru, Wikipedia is all about what reliable sources say, not what we as individual editors, want. That means no unsourced changes and no original research. Please read the policies: Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:No original research.

The issues with your edits: this edit is particularly problematic. Not only are you violating neutrality (Wikipedia:Neutral point of view), your changes may constitute original research. The changes to definition are not supported by the existing sources. Changes based on your personal "research"/experience are not acceptable- please provide a reliable source for alternative usage.

As for this edit, its inclusion might be notable - if - it received coverage in reliable sources. The problem is with your source- it may not meet reliability due to political slant. (Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources) My personal oppinion is that inlusion of Calderon's, an ex-President, usage is notable. My personal opinion is irrelevant though. A better source is needed. @User:AuroralColibri, so where is your reliable source for this statement?: "...is a pejorative epithet used in Mexico to describe an individual who holds a far-left ideology." Also, the news portal Aristegui Noticias, the source I used here, was the recipient of the Knight International Journalism Award by the International Center for Journalists in 2016, so how is this not a reliable source?.
