DuckTales is a 2017 American animated television series by Disney Television Animation. The series, which serves as a reboot of the original series of the same name, was announced on February 25, 2015 and is scheduled to premiere on Disney XD in the second to third quarter of 2017. The first season will consist of 21 half-hour episodes and two hour-long specials.[2] On March 2, 2017, prior to the series premiere, the show was renewed for a second season.[3] The series will debut on August 12th with a one hour television movie. The series will debut 2 new episodes on September 23rd.[4]

Voice cast

The voice cast for the primary characters in the series was revealed on December 16, 2016.[5][6]

The characters Magica De Spell and Duckworth will also make appearances in the series. The voice cast for these characters has not yet been confirmed.[2][8]

Marketing

On March 10, 2017, a trailer for the series aired on Disney Channel during the premiere of Tangled: Before Ever After.
