The Battle of Sealand is the first studio album from the American shoegaze band Airiel. It was released in August 2007 on Chicago-based Highwheel Records. The album is named after the Principality of Sealand.

According to an article on the Sealand News website, the members of the band were granted the noble titles of Lord in recognition of naming their CD after the micronation.[1] On 30 September 2007, it was announced that they would be the first rock band to perform at Sealand [2] [3]. However, the concert did not take place.

The album's recording took place when the group had a line-up of Chris DeBrizzio, Cory Osborne, John Rungger, and Jeremy Wrenn.[1] Ulrich Schnauss had a guest appearance on the track "Sugar Crystals";[1] Schnuass is a long-time performer in the genre of electronic music, working out of Berlin, Germany, and has collaborated with numerous other artists as well as served in Tangerine Dream.[4]
