Gunter Gabriel (11 June 1942 – 22 June 2017) was a German singer, musician and composer.

His death was reported on 22 June 2017.[1]

Gabriel became famous in Germany as singer of Schlager songs. Gabriel had four children. He married four times.[2] Gabriel lived in Hamburg-Harburg.[3]

Gabriel published Wer einmal tief im Keller saß. Erinnerungen eines Rebellen with Oliver Flesch in 2009 (ISBN 978-3941378179).
