Laptop Issues

Unlike other private schools and some other public schools, Yarra Valley has decided not to follow the trend of issuing students school laptops. To substitute the absence of laptops, Yarra valley has invested in high power multimedia machines and high bandwidth intranet infrastructure to accommodate the ever increasing number of students interested in Multimedia as their future career.

Houses

There are four houses in Yarra Valley Grammar that are named after important figures during the school's history.

  • Hughes - Yellow Shirt
  • Arnott - Maroon Shirt
  • Annells - Sky Blue Shirt
  • Plummer - Green Shirt

The four School Houses fight for the House Cup each year with a combined points system through competetive winter sports, swimming, and cross country.
