== A.S. Roma's colours have ALWAYS been 'orange-maroon'... ==

The bit where you say that Roma's kit changed to 'orange-maroon' due to modern marketing is completely wrong...
What we mean for 'purple red' here in Rome is exactly what you call 'maroon', a lighter shade though... what we mean for 'gold' is exactly what you call 'orange' or 'amber', light orange... Roma's kits have been such for decades... it's not about 'modern marketing' at all... we're nicknamend 'yellow-reds' for simplicistic reasons, the press never dared coin the term 'orange-maroon', so it went that way, but our kit has seldom been really yellow and red... it happened in the late '80s, we wore dark red and yellow... our kits before then had always been maroon and light orange... and they reverted to 'orange-maroon' immediately in the '90s... next season we'll be wearing yellow-red again, I don't think our supporters will love it, though.
It's a bit like Motherwell or Bradford City, their kits are so similar to ours. How would you call them? Amber-maroon? Amber-claret? That's Roma. It has always been, and when we say we're yellow-reds we do mean that light orange-maroon combination...
Please, change that bit where you say it's due to modern marketing, it is not, it has never been this way...

A.S. Roma's colours have ALWAYS been 'orange-maroon'...

The bit where you say that Roma's kit changed to 'orange-maroon' due to modern marketing is completely wrong...
