Marvel's Spider-Man, or simply Spider-Man, is an upcoming animated action-adventure, science-fiction television series based on the Spider-Man comics created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. It is a replacement for the previous series Ultimate Spider-Man. It is set to premiere on August 19, 2017 on Disney XD.
Plot
An intelligent teen named Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider at a school field trip to Oscorp and given powers.[3] He becomes a hero named Spider-Man after the death of his Uncle Ben and he must adapt to this new way of life.

Production
In October 2016, the series was announced by Cort Lane, senior vice president of Marvel Animation, as a replacement for the series' predecessor, Ultimate Spider-Man, which ended its run in early January 2017. It is set to premiere in third quarter 2017 on Disney XD.[3][1]
On July 24, 2017, animated shorts of the show will start daily release on Disney XD and its YouTube channel for a total of six episodes.[3]
