He has overseen the audio post production over 70 Nepali Movies. During a time in which film making in Nepal has moved away from celluloid to digital. He has been at the forefront of the technical side of the industry continually push boundaries in sound. With more than 8 awards[2] under his hat. Uttam is the go to guy for film makers who are looking to push the technical limits of the sound in their films. He is also branching out to the international market as well. He has worked with Benjamin Best on Dirty Games. He has worked on Busan International Film Festival Produced Chandra[3] which was screened at the festival in 2015 and the Sundance Film Festival awarded Dadyaa[4] in 2017.
