Trakiszki [traˈkiʂki] (Template:Lang-lt) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Puńsk, within Sejny County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.[1] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) east of Puńsk, 19 km (12 mi) north-west of Sejny, and 126 km (78 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok. Trakiszki has a railroad station along the rail line connecting Poland and Lithuania. 75 percents of the population are ethnic Lithuanians, but the number yearly falls down.[2]
