"''...was the guitarist, co-lead vocalist and co-founder of the American rock band Blink-182 from 1992 to 2015.''" The past tense ("was") is wrong because it's saying DeLonge is no longer the band's co-founder, which makes no sense. It needs to be, "''...was the guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the American rock band Blink-182, which he co-founded in 1992, until 2015''" or "''...was the guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the American rock band Blink-182, which he co-founded, from 1992 to 2015.''" Hello, why is there ZERO mention in this large article about Mr. Delonge's venutes into the black world of extraterrestrial entities ? There is just a vague reference to "ufologists" in the page description and his newest book. Mr. Delonge left the band because of his interest in the matter. |

Update!
Sure, I'm an obsessed crazy Tom DeLonge fan, and an obsessed crazy Wikipedia fan. I would like to edit the Tom DeLonge page to include
-His new custom Epiphone guitar. -His involvement with ModLife. -Give mention to the fact that the majority of the guitars he plays live, mainly the white with black racing stripes, black with black matte racing stripes, and natural wood with black racing stripes are all made by Gibson but they feature an "AVA" headstock logo. -His exclusive usage amp since (roughly) 2000, Mesa Boogies.

Gear
I (IShootNewbs), compiled the gear section mostly. I used photos and vids as sources. If there are any problems, feel free to reach me on MSN messenger. my handle on msn is, "anarchypbnj@yahoo.com"
This article used to acctually show the Gear that Tom used live, not just info that anyone could find just about anywhere regarding Tom's signature guitars.
Name Continuity
Did anybody else notice that in some places it says "DeLonge" and other places it says "Delonge"? It's DeLonge, without question. http://www.blink182.com/about/features.asp?AssetID=1073763&artistid=4 This is a biography on blink's site from Geffen. I'm changing the lowercasers. --Atticus2020 05:38, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Picture?
there isn't a picture for the article. Which pic should we get? A recent one with him in AvA or an older one of him in blink? (since his look is completely different lol)--Martin925 02:44, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- I added one with him as A
== Biography == You shold add an old one of him in blink, or possibly a new one of him in blink!
There used to be a proper biography, but it's gone. It should be there. Just Trivia and Discography alone is not enough.. GraafGeorge 16:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
I agree - this article is only a shadow of what it used to be....In comparison the Mark Hoppus article is much better. 69.15.134.74 19:16, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
?
im not exactly sure where this would go.. but in an interview with larry king, tom delonge said that he wasn't able to be a "certain type of father and husband" in the current situation that he was in with blink 182. heres the link to the video for reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h60DfTOZHvE —The preceding unsigned comment was added by DANIZZLE (talk • contribs) 23:16:07, August 18, 2007 (UTC).
In The intro it says that Tom plays in AVA with a former member of the Distillers when in reality it should say 30 Seconds To Mars seeing as how Matt Wachter replaced Ryan Sinn in early 2007. Also Atom Willard never recorded with The Offspring, he only toured with them from 2003-2007 so the intro should not state that he was a former member of the Offspring, but instead it should say that he was a former member of Rocket From The Crypt. I say this because this is how Tom references him as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Luck was13 (talk • contribs) 18:08, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

things that should be corrected
Tom Delonge's signature guitar a ES-333 not a ES-335 and he has stated in a interview that no possible way blink 182 will get back together.

tomdelonge.com is NOT his website, I'm not sure if he has one —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.93.252.130 (talk) 20:55, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
According to buzznet.com Blink 182 is reuiniting to present a grammy award, also they might get back together and make a new album, but AVA and Plus-44 would not break up.

Equipment section is too detailed
Hey guys I think the section about the equipment Tom uses is way too detailed for an encyclopedia. This is supposed to be general information about Tom, and the number of people who are interested in knowing every guitar, amplifier, and pickup Tom has ever used is probably very small. I am not deleting anything yet, I am just curious to see if anyone agrees with me. Basilisk4u (talk) 07:49, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- A year later, I agree. But if someone deletes something, someone else just comes back and adds it. And so the only way to make sure it stays quality is to keep coming back to it. And who wants to spend their life continually re-editing equipment data? There are things that just aren't worth the battles. Wickedjacob (talk) 12:44, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
- Three years late, but whatever. I figure the more info the better. It's not like it's taking up a huge amount of space Wikipedia can't spare on their servers anyways. --99.246.20.12 (talk) 19:16, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:Blink182 old.jpg
The image File:Blink182 old.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
Writing Style
Sorry, just wanted to say that this entire entry is poorly written and sounds like a kid from middle school wrote it. Someone should edit this...but not me.
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Angels & Airwaves personal
Does Tom play rhythm guitar or lead guitar? In such songs as "Rite of Spring" , and "The Adventure", and a lot of songs from their debut album he can be seen/heard playing lead guitar. --58.168.25.164 (talk) 06:28, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

Tom is still a member of blink 182 so the word "former" should be removed until Tom himself publicly states he is no longer in blink 182. Vaspala (talk) 09:24, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
- Not done: as you have not cited reliable sources to back up your request, without which no information should be added to, or changed in, any article. - The current article is based on this report amongst others - you need to find contradictory reports to support your assertion. The Dream Walker and career history
In the section regarding Tom's career history, most everything regarding his latest endeavour with Angels and Airwaves: the Dream Walker (album, short film, film, comics, novel, etc.) is missing, when this didn't seem to be the case weeks ago. This change seems unnecessary, and the page has been blocked from editing, so I have no way of changing it the way it should be. Thank you. --99.246.20.12 (talk) 19:14, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
