Avalon Interactive was a video game distribution company, originally named Virgin Interactive. It was acquired in 1999 by the French publisher Titus Software, and its name was changed to Avalon Interactive on July 1, 2003.
Avalon Interactive was a subsidiary of Titus Software, responsible for the UK distribution of the group's games as well as Interplay's games. Avalon distributed games for the Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox. Avalon France was also a subsidiary of Titus who did distribution in France. In other countries other distributors did the work such as Virgin Play in Spain.
In 2005, Avalon Interactive's parent company, Titus Software filed for bankruptcy in January 2005 with €33 million ($43.8 million) debt.[1] which led to the closure of Avalon Interactive and Avalon France.
