SC Tavriya Simferopol or Tavria Simferopol is a football team in the Ukrainian Premier League or Vyscha Liha. The club has always been in the Vyscha Liha since its formation in 1992. On December 29, 2005 club owner Serhiy Kunitsyn fired the team's coach, Oleh Fedorchuk. On January 5, 2006 Tavriya signed Mykhailo Fomenko for a half year contract. Tavria Simferopol was the first champion of Ukrainian Premier League.
