OtakuThon is Quebec's largest, and currently only anime festival. It is held annually in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

OtakuThon was intiated by the anime club of Concordia University, called "Otaku Anime of Concordia University" (Otaku for short). OtakuThon is a trilingual (French, English and Japanese) event.

OtakuThon 2006
OtakuThon 2006 was held on June 10 & 11 of 2006 at Concordia University. While registration was free, the convention was funded through donations and sponsorships. Attendance reached 1800. [1]
