Energy in Oman describes energy and electricity production, consumption, and importations in Oman. The article Energy policy of Oman will describe the politics of Oman in more details. Oman is an energy exporter as well as an importer.
Primary energy use in 2009 in Oman was 175 TWh and 61 TWh per a million people.[1] In 2008, primary energy use in Oman grew to 191 TWh and 69 TWh per million persons.[2]

Oil
Yibal is the largest oilfield in Oman and is operated primarily by Royal Dutch Shell.
Gas
Oman LNG is a LNG plant in operation since September 2000. It is supplied with gas from Saih Rowl, in central Oman, the gas field operated by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).
