Arna Ýr Jónsdóttir (born 1995) is an Icelandic athlete and beauty pageant contestant. She was chosen Miss Iceland 2015.

Athletics

She is a track and field athlete specialising in the pole vault. She has won the Icelandic women's championship,[1] and won the bronze medal at the 2014 European Team Championships in Tbilisi.[2][3]

Beauty pageants

Arna Ýr was crowned Miss Iceland in September 2015.[4] In June 2016 she won the Miss Euro pageant.[5]

She withdrew from Miss Grand International 2016 after pageant organisers asked her to lose weight.[6][7][8][9][10]

Nike has chosen her as a brand representative.[9]
