Dhavali (ढवळी) is a panchayat village[1] in the state of Maharashtra, India.[2][3] Administratively, Dhavali is under Walwa Taluka of Sangli District in Maharashtra.[3] Dhavali is the only village in its gram panchayat.[3] The village of Dhavali is 23 km by road south of the city of Uran Islampur and 9 km by road west of the city of Ashta. In 2011, the population was 2258 persons, consisting of 1176 males and 1082 females in 477 families. The literacy rate is 88.15%.

  • Siddharthnagar{सिद्धार्थनगर}*:-It is a new developed area recently called as Malbhag. At honor of Tathagat Siddharth Gautam Buddha it's renamed as SiddharthNagar.

In this village Malbhag is renamed as a SiddharthNagar Dhavali as a honor of Tathagat Gautam Buddha. In this area all the peopls of various castes and religions are lived together.

SiddharthNagar is a most beautiful and cleanest spot in dhavali. All the peoples in SiddharthNagar is well qualified and 100% of students are well educated.


मौजे ढवळी :- मौजे ढवळी हे गाव तालुका वाळवा जिल्हा सांगली महाराष्ट्र राज्ययामध्ये येत आहे. मौजे ढवळी हे सांगली पासून ३१.४ किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे. तसेच तालुका वाळवा पासून २७.९ किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे. तसेच कोल्हापूर हे शहर ३२.८ किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे. श्री.क्षेत्र ज्योतिबा मंदिर हे तीर्थक्षेत्र ३८.८ किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे. नागपंचमी या सणासाठी भारतात प्रसिध्द असणारे गाव बत्तीस शिराळा हे अवघ्या ३७.२किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे. ढवळी गाव हे वारणा नदीच्या समृद्ध कोऱ्याच्या परिसरात येत असून गावापासून वारणा नदी अवघ्या १० किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे.

सिद्धार्थनगर ढवळी- सिद्धार्थनगर ढवळी हे नवीण गावठाण (माळभाग) याला देण्यात आलेले नवीन नाव आहे.महाकारूनिक तथागत सिद्धार्थ गौतम बुद्ध यांच्या शिकवणीवर चालणाऱ्या या सिद्धार्थनगरात लोक गुण्यागोविंदाने राहतात.

सिद्धार्थनगर चे अत्यंत महत्वाचे वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे येथील सर्व लोक उच्चशिक्षित आहेत. मागासलेल्या घटकातून आणि अत्यंत बिकट परिस्तिथीत शिक्षण उच्च शिक्षण घेऊन येथील लोकांनी एक प्रकारची आमूलाग्र सामाजिक क्रांती घडवून आणली आहे.

डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर, तथागत सिद्धार्थ गौतम बुद्ध यांच्या विचारावर चालणारे हे सिद्धार्थनगर सर्वांसाठी एक आदर्श बनलेले आहे.

दरवर्षी 14 एप्रिल रोजी सिद्धार्थनगर मध्ये असलेल्या झेंडा चौकामध्ये डॉ.बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांची भव्य जयंती साजरी केली जाते. विविध सामाजिक उपक्रम, अंधश्रद्धा निर्मूलन, शैक्षणिक कार्य,महामानवांची व्याख्याने, स्वच्छता मोहीम,कोणत्याही ध्वनिप्रदूषणाविराहित पारंपरिक पद्धतीने निघणारी भीमजयंतीची मिरवणूक ही या सिद्धार्थनगरची खास वैशिष्ट्य आहेत.

सलग 18 तास अभ्यासाचा उपक्रम राबवणारे सिद्धार्थनगर हे सर्वांसाठी अगदी खास आहे. येथे सिद्धार्थ युवा संघर्ष, प्रबुद्ध भारत युवा मंच, जय भीम तरुण मंडळ,अण्णा भाऊ साठे युवा मंच यासारखे अनेक सामाजिक मंडळे कार्य करत असतात.
