This image, Kuwabara-kineo01.jpg, is being linked from Kineo Kuwabara; though the picture is subject to copyright I (Hoary) think it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. it is a low resolution copy of a book cover;
2. it does not in any way limit the rights or impede the efforts of the copyright owners to claim ownership of or derive income from the book or incorporated photograph;
3. copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the artwork in any saleable form.

The image is significant in the article because the book shows the continued popularity of Kuwabara's work and the photograph is a sample of the kind of scene that most photographers ignored at the time, Kuwabara being a celebrated exception. -- Hoary 02:39, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
