Disambiguation link notification for October 12
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited All This Life, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Newcastle and James Walsh (check to confirm&nbsp;|&nbsp;fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. <small>Read the FAQ Join us at the DPL WikiProject.</small>

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Dont lose your head.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Dont lose your head.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Bulcamp Oddity

I like the article, but right now it's a cut-and-paste copyright violation. Perhaps it can be re-written as a more factual article? Regards, Acroterion (talk) 02:11, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I did not delete the article: I liked it and left you an encouraging note (above), explaining that it was a copyright violation and liable to be deleted if you did not re-write it. So you can't claim you weren't consulted or warned. Since you took no further action, another admin deleted it. Acroterion (talk) 01:05, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And please don't go to the deleting admin and complain: cut-and-paste is liable to immediate deletion. As a friend to oddities, and particularly to architectural oddities, I'd be happy to assist you in writing an appropriately sourced article in compliance with Wikipedia policies. Image source problem with Image:OddityClose.jpg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:OddityClose.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:08, 2 September 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. PhilKnight (talk) 15:08, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Startiger.jpg.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 09:03, 25 June 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 09:03, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

 1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
 2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:46, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wonder Days, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chris Childs. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:Starsailor good souls.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Starsailor good souls.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:07, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
