Rishi is an Indian film actor who works in Kannada cinema. He rose to fame with 2017 Blockbuster film Operation Alamelamma.

Rishi while doing his engineering he also worked as a radio jockey. Then he joined theatre groups and started playing various characters. After completing engineering he worked in a private company for few months and resigned the job. After quitting the job he acted in an Hindi - English film called Software Hardware. Rishi got a chance to act in television serial initially he was not interested but then made up his mind and acted in Anuroopa television serial which was telecasted on Star Suvarna. Director Suni noticed his acting in Anuroopa television serial and opted him for his thriller comedy film Operation Alamelamma which became one of the major blockbuster hit of 2017.
Rishi currently doing Kavalu Daari which is being directed by Hemanth Rao and produced by Puneeth Rajkumar under his production PRK Productions.
Personal life
Rishi (21 June) was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and bought up in Mysore, Karnataka, India. He did his schooling from St. Joseph's School, Mysore and Pre - university course from Marimallappa 's College, Mysore. Rishi completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), Mysore. His sister Nethra is an popular radio jockey, actor and Bigg Boss Kannada 3 contestant.
