In 2012 I entered negotiation with the LAG Strong Estate to obtain acknowledgement and copyright of several novels and short stories that my grandfather, John Francis Swaine, had written and which had been published under Strong's name. Agreement was reached with the Strong Estate and subsequently Swaine's manuscripts and other papers were accepted by the National Library of Ireland. Inter alia, the Oxford Companion to English Literarture Editor, Professor Dinah Birch, expressed an interest in rectifying the incorrect entry in this authoritative reference book by crediting Swaine with those works that he had written.
