This article for [[Yuri Dolgorukiy]] doesn't have a single source cited, but has a lot of vague references to sources. It seems like finding even one credible source would greatly improve this article. There is some question about when he was actually born, so there is an opportunity for at least three sources just in that short paragraph. That same paragraph also needs some rewording I would be unwilling to attempt without sources because it confuses me. I also think the article would benefit from more chronological ordering of life events. The topic sentence states that he "played a key role" in a political shift, but I don't see where it elaborates on what that role was. Nothing in the article seems obviously biased.

"There is also a version that has his son [[Andrei Bogolyubskiy]] being born around 1111. It is doubtful that Yuri was at that time younger than 16 or 17." this sentence confuses me. Would make more sense if the year range this estimates were stated.

This article would benefit by even one credibly source. After reviewing such a source, I could judge organization and proportions to topics better.Currently, ambiguity of birth, general overview of life accomplishments and genealogy information seems appropriate headers, though death could maybe have it's own section. Also, seems that the actual life part could be more substantial.

Article Evaluation

This article for Yuri Dolgorukiy doesn't have a single source cited, but has a lot of vague references to sources.

Notes

"There is also a version that has his son Andrei Bogolyubskiy being born around 1111. It is doubtful that Yuri was at that time younger than 16 or 17." this sentence confuses me. Would make more sense if the year range this estimates were stated.

This article states where information was found, but does not actually cite them. Examples: "According to Vasily Tatishchev, Yuri was born in 1090" ""the Rus lands fell apart", as one chronicle put it." "Several websites have speculated that his wife was a daughter of Isaac Komnenos."

Testing

It can be helpful to copy and paste the text below into a sandbox, and apply all of the options directly to this text to see what it does.

Paragraph: This helps you set the style of the text. For example, a header, or plain paragraph text. You can also use it to offset block quotes.

A : Highlight your text, then click here to format it with bold, italics, etc. The "More" options allows you to underline, add code snippets, and change language keyboards.

Links: The chain button allows you to link your text. Highlight the word, and push the button. The visual editor will automatically suggest related Wikipedia articles for that word or phrase. This is a great way to connect your article to more Wikipedia content. You only have to link important words once, usually during the first time they appear. If you want to link to pages outside of Wikipedia (for an "external links" section, for example) click on the "External link" tab.

Cite: The citation tool in the visual editor helps format your citations. You can simply paste a DOI or URL, and the visual editor will try to sort out all of the fields you need. Be sure to review it, however, and apply missing fields manually (if you know them). You can also add books, journals, news, and websites manually. That opens up a quick guide for inputting your citations. Finally, you can click the "re-use" tab if you've already added a source and just want to cite it again.

Bullets: To add bullet points or a numbered list, click here.

Insert: This tab lets you add media, images, or tables.

Ω The final tab allows you to add special characters, such as those found in non-English words, scientific notation, and a handful of language extensions.
