Song articles

To create an article, for instance James Bonamy's "I Don't Think I Will," you would go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Don't_Think_I_Will. In the event that an unrelated article exists, try adding "_(song)" or eventually "_(James_Bonamy_song)" to the address. Below where it says "Wikipedia does not have an article with this exact name," click on "Start the I Don't Think I Will article." In the empty text box, paste in this code:

For additional information, I use Allmusic for track lengths, writers and producers (if the album doesn't already have an article containing that information) and LP Discography for B-sides and more specific release dates. But I Do Love You

Hi I noticed your edit on "But I Do Love You" and I would like to point out that the iTunes source states that it was released on February 26, 2002 but if you have a reliable source that can prove the single was released in 2001 then it can be changed but I would also like to point out that Amazon.com though it has the wrong released month and day also gives it a 2002 release. Queen of Hearts

Hello David829. You'll note I've reverted your recent move of Queen of Hearts (Hank DeVito song). This was due to a discussion I started at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Music#Title disambiguation of popular songs. When I started that thread I cited your move as an example, but intended it to be a discussion about title disambiguations in general as opposed to your move in particular. However, the result of the discussion did seem to rule out "(Dave Edmunds song)" as an appropriate disambiguation for the example article. It occurs to me now that I ought to have notified you of the discussion—I apologize for neglecting to do this at the time. Of course, it's not too late for you to join the discussion, and we can always undo my reversion should new information or opinions come to light or should a new consensus develop. —Psychonaut (talk) 22:01, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

Song stubs

Could you please put a little more effort into your song stubs? Not every song that hit the top 40 of the country chart is automatically notable. Please make sure you have at least one source discussing the song at length. For instance, Are Your Eyes Still Blue only hit #31, but there is more to say about the song because there are two reviews of it and official sheet music. Likewise, Heather's Wall only hit #37, but there is an article from CMT discussing the song at length, along with a review from Billboard of the song. Song content

I would recommend back issues of Billboard and Country Weekly, review sites like The Boot, Country Standard Time, Roughstock, etc. This site also has archives of Radio & Records magazine, which sometimes has reviews or articles on songs. You could also check newspaper archives like newspapers.com to see if any of them have articles on the artist or their material. It's usually easier to get a good article going on a modern song because there will invariably be more sites giving it attention, such as Love Triangle (song). I would recommend taking a look at Cain's Blood, Are Your Eyes Still Blue, and Someday Soon (Ian Tyson song) as examples of reasonably fleshed-out articles on older songs, and using those as examples. • ETA: Dixie Rose Deluxe's Honky-Tonk, Feed Store, Gun Shop, Used Car, Beer, Bait, BBQ, Barber Shop, Laundromat is another good example. Look at Us (Craig Morgan song)

The content you added to Look at Us (Craig Morgan song) is exactly the kind of thing I'd like to see you adding to articles. If you can't figure out how to do the link neatly, then do something like this:
