How do I mark an article as a stub?

Head to the veeeeeery bottom of the page (below even categories or interwiki links, if they're present), and add the appropriate stub template. At first, you probably won't know which one to use (there's a list at WP:STUB, I think, but it's a long list), so you can just use the really basic ones, like {{stub}}, {{bio-stub}}, or {{sports-stub}}, and such. As you do it a bit more often (and as you see people sort the stubs you label with general stub categories), you should get to be a bit more familiar with the stub tags you might want to use. Hi Sam - Hope you don't mind, but I've just made a tiny edit to your user page to "subst" the stub template you put on it. Stub templates automatically add a category to articles so that editors know to come along and edit them. It's not really appropriate to have user pages in that category, so I removed the category link. Grutness...wha? 01:02, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
