Birkenhead ferry wharf is located on Iron Cove serving the Sydney suburb of Birkenhead Point. Until October 2010, It was served by Sydney Ferries Parramatta River services operating from Circular Quay.[1] The single wharf was served by First Fleet class ferries.
Birkenhead Wharf is located adjacent to the Iron Cove Bridge and close to Birkenhead Point Factory Outlet Centre, which is about a minute walk away.
Transport links
Alternative public transport is provided by bus. A bus stop exists nearby on Victoria Road, about a two-minute walk away. There are up to twenty Sydney Buses services which run from the city to various locations in inner western Sydney, including Ryde, Parramatta and Macquarie University that use the stop.
