Make a Little Magic is the 1980 album from The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (a.k.a. The Dirt Band) is notable for having many charting albums and singles. This album includes the title cut which reached number 77 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart but peaked at number 25 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with the late Nicolette Larson singing backup. The album reached number 62 on the US Billboard 200 chart. It also includes their cover version of the Cindy Bullens tune, "Anxious Heart".

The title track is the only charting single from the LP. It reached number 25 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 12 on the Adult Contemporary chart.^[2] On the Canadian pop singles chart, "Make a Little Magic" reached number three.
