"Lowlife" is a song recorded by American singer Poppy from her EP, Bubblebath (EP), which was released on February 12, 2016. It was released on July 24, 2015 by Island Records as the first single from the record.
Composition
"Lowlife" is a pop track released by Poppy as a single for her record Bubblebath. The track has elements of reggae throughout the song. Another version was also released featuring Travis Mills rapping in the middle of the song.
Music video
The music video for "Lowlife" was released on July 24, 2015. The video is about poppies life on set and how she sold her soul to the devil who is on set with her to get fame. It shows the reality of fame and how it is not as good as people make it out to be. The meaning of the song accompanies well with the meaning of the video.
