Summer rolls (known as goi cuon in Vietnamese) are fried wraps with pork, shrimp, herbs, rice vermicelli, and other ingredients wrapped in rice paper, similar to spring rolls. These are normally dipped in a simple sauce consisting of Hoisin Sauce and Peanut butter which are boiled until well blended.

Summer rolls are a typical Vietnamese finger food usually served fried and in the summer. Unlike spring rolls, summer rolls are fried, and are served hot.

In some restaurants, Goi Cuon is translated into Spring Roll.
