Kazhakoottam Railway Station (Code:KZK}\) is a railway station in the Indian city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.[1] The station falls under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division of the Southern Railway Zone of Indian Railways.

Provision of High Resolution LED based integrated passenger information System were introduced at Thiruvananthapuram central, Kollam, Ernakulam Jn and Thrissur through advertisement mode, and is being extended to Kazhakkoottam. A minor catering stall has started working here recently.

Significance

It is located at Kazhakoottam, which gained in significance because of proximity to Technopark, Sainik School, Kinfra Film and Video Park, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, DCSMAT media school, PRASAD film lab, Vismayas Max.[2]

The station currently has three platforms.Food Corporation of India(FCI) godown is situated in railway station premises.
