Pronunciation?

I've never heard a definitive pronunciation for Tanger. Possibilities seem to include:

Like the city of Tangiers
Rhyming with anger
Rhyming with hanger
As if French (tahnh-zhay)
As if spelled Tan-jer
"That place there, I don't know how to pronounce it."
