The County of Freiwaldau is a former county in the Czech Sudetenland and existed as a German county between 1938 and 1945. Its predecessor, the political district of Freiwaldau, existed since 1850.

The county had 736.36 km² with 68,823 inhabitants, of which 66,855 were Germans.

On January 1, 1945, the administrative district of Freiwaldau had the following:

  • The 5 cities of Freiwaldau, Friedeberg, Jauernig, Weidenau and Zuckmantel
  • As well as 35 other municipalities.

The County of Freiwaldau had on December 1, 1930: 71,717 inhabitants, on 17 May 1939: 70,005 inhabitants and on 22 May 1947: 36,302 inhabitants.
