Sargodha Tehsil (Template:Lang-ur), is an administrative subdivision of the Sargodha District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The tehsil is subdivided into 62 Union Councils - 22 of which form the city of Sargodha.[1]

Location

Bhagtanwala City is 20 Km from the Sargodha District. It is surrounded by orange orchards and situated between two canals and near four motorway interchanges; Makhdoom, Kotmomin, Salim and Mateela.

Bhagtanwala

The city of Bhagtanwala is known for its quaint bazaars and shopping centers. Almost 60 villages are in Bhagtanwala, which are connected through one-way concrete roads. Roughly 14 CNG commercial filling stations and 17 petrol pumps are available in Bhagtanwala. Natural gas, telephone, mobile, and sewage systems are available. Villages are labeled "Chak" followed by a number and a local name. A small airport operates in Bhagtanwala. 7 large hospitals, almost 30 medical stores and 4 marriage halls are there. Bhagtanwala city is the economic hub for the roughly 60 Villages ("Chaks").

Education

Government High Schools and two Colleges: a women's and a men's are there.

Wapda Town Sargodha (Wapda Housing Society) is situated near Bhagtanwala with access to local facilities and institutions.
