Television Jamaica (TVJ) is one of Jamaica's two major television stations, its competitor being CVM Television. It is a subsidiary of the RJRGleaner Communications Group.[1][2] Television Jamaica has a number of managers,[3] the General Manager being Claire Grant who was appointed the position in September 2012.

Programming

TVJ hosts a wide range of local programmes, a few of which are Smile Jamaica, Impact, All Together Sing, Rising Stars, Magnum Kings And Queens Of Dancehall, "Entertainment Report" and Prime Time News. Television Jamaica also airs syndicated programs, such as The Jamie Foxx Show, Everybody Hates Chris, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Are We There Yet?, Girlfriends, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, The Batman, The Proud Family, A Different World, Charmed, The Closer, Any Day Now and Monk, Empire and Gotham'
