I will be upgrading an existing article and I will be adding a paragraph on the struggles that the military expansion brought. I want to bring more of the conflicts that were happening in the government that were not touched on a lot in the article. {{dashboard.wikiedu.org sandbox}} |

Article Evaluation
My article was on the Meiji Restoration. This article only had one external link that brought me to an error page. While reading this article I thought that the information was presented clean and not biased towards one or the other. All the information was in order and it was easy to read, there was not a time that I did not understand what I was reading. There are quite a few references, which looks like one or two could be biased. This article is rated at a level 4 vital article, and it said it was rated start-class. This is a part of wiki project, and its call WikiProject Japan. I feel that the reading we did in class was more in depth about the subject of the Meiji Restoration, and that the Wikipedia page just skimmed the top or even the summary of it. It also combined our readings and information from week one and week two in this article. Which I thought worked well because it reminded of who was happening before this started to take place and what was going on in Japan.
Potential Articles

Add more accurate citations from our readings to make this a bit more accurate. Also do a little bit more on the samurai and what they went through during the Meiji restoration.

I would show more of the conflict within the government. I would also add a few different viewpoints on the struggle of the military expansion.
My paragraph start
"In 1873, no one could predict with certainty whether these quarrels would end peacefully or through military action, nor was it clear which individuals or groups would come out on top in the expected power struggle." [1]
