Valentina Aleksandrovna Petrenko (Template:Lang-ru; born August 23, 1955, Kazakh SSR[1]) is a Soviet and Russian politician, member of the Federation Council since 2001 from the Government of the Republic of Khakassia.[1] Member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy. Doctor of Education [1]

Born in Kazakhstan.[2] She is fluent in Polish, English and Spanish.[1] In 1977 She graduated from the Rostov State Pedagogical Institute majoring in teacher of biology and chemistry.

She is married and has one daughter.[2]

She was awarded the Order of Honour.[1]
