Apan Jewellers is a chain of gold and diamond jewelry store based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1][2] It is the largest jewelry retailer in Bangladesh.[3][4]
History
The company has seven branches located in Dhaka including Gulshan, Uttara thana, and Dhanmondi.[5] On 14 May 2017 the intelligence branch of Bangladesh customs raided five branches of the company simultaneously in Dhaka and sealed one of them. They were being investigated for gold smuggling and tax dodging.[6][7] Apan Real Estate Limited is the sister company of the jewelers.[8]
