Former species
Phyllobrostis argillosa Meyrick, 1911 was described from a single male from Kranspoort near Pretoria. It is misplaced in Lyonetiidae and even in Yponomeutoidea. The species should probably be placed in the superfamily Tineoidea, probably in Tineidae.
