Biography
Wagner was born in 1974 in Nanaimo and grew up in Tsawwassen, BC.
She comes from a large Catholic family. Wagner graduated from English and Roman Studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. For many years she has been an anti-abortion activist, criticizing abortion as the murder of an unborn child.[1] She protested in private abortion clinics in Toronto praying and handing out white roses along with information pamphlets about the value of human life.[2] Wagner was arrested for the first time in 2012.[3] Following a nearly two-year-long trial, Judge Fergus O'Donnell found Wagner guilty of the charges, sentencing her to nine-month imprisonment and a two-year probationary limitation on being around abortion clinics.[4] She left prison on June 12, 2014.
On December 23, 2014, after entering the Bloor West Village Women's Clinic located at 2425 Bloor Street West, Suite 403 an abortion facility in Toronto she has been arrested again and charged with disruption of business operations.[5][6]
On December 12, 2016, Wagner has been detained once again inside the abortion center in Bloor West Village on the day she effectively discouraged one of the women from aborting.[7] She was charged and sentenced to 9 months of imprisonment.[8][9][10][11]
