SpaceX CRS-14, also known as SpX-14, is a Commercial Resupply Service mission to the International Space Station currently manifested to launch in April 2018.[2] The mission was contracted by NASA and is flown by SpaceX.

Launch schedule history

In early 2015, NASA awarded a contract extension to SpaceX for three additional CRS missions (CRS-13 to CRS-15).[3] As of June 2016, a NASA Inspector General report had this mission manifested for August 2018.[4]

As of April 2, 2018, the launch has been rated 80% go for 4pm April 2, 2018.[5]

Primary payload

NASA has contracted for the CRS-14 mission from SpaceX and therefore determines the primary payload, date/time of launch, and orbital parameters for the Dragon space capsule. According to a NASA Inspector General report of June 2016, CRS-14 is expected to carry 2,760 kg (6,080 lb) of pressurized mass and 550 kg (1,210 lb) of unpressurized.[4] According to a 2016 presentation, the external payloads manifested for this flights were ASIM, PFCS and MISSE.[6][7]
