Lorna Mahlock is the first African American woman to be nominated as a Brigadier general in the United States Marine Corps. As of now, Colonel Mahlock is the Deputy Director of Operations, Plans, Policies, and Operation Directorate at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C.[1][2] [3]
