Thank you for the feedback. Because the person in question (Jake Ellis) has not yet been elected and does not face primary opposition, I believe the article should be placed in draft pending the results of the November election.

The article in your sandbox

Hi, Buckstike. Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw on the recent change list that you had completed an article in your sandbox. I gotta tell ya, that is a GREAT first effort! It could use some little tweeks, but it is ready to go to mainspace! It passes notability with no problem. It is cool to learn something I didn't know about my relatively new home. (I have lived in the Payette-Ontario area for 8 years...transplant from Michigan). If you don't know how to move it let me know and I will give you a hand. I am glad you chose to write about a place for your first article. Way too many people try to write about people and articles about people have the highest standards for inclusion on Wikipedia! Thanks for the great addition. If you need any help let me know on my talk page. Gtwfan52 (talk) 04:08, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I just moved to Idaho too. The idea for the article came up in a discussion at work one day. I noticed it was not marked on Google Maps and the link in Wikipedia was dead. So I figured I would write it and learn something new, both on the topic and on Wikipedia too.Buckistike (talk) 04:41, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am moving your article to AfC, pending moving it to mainspace! I am a reviewer and your article is fine. You can add a picture when you get one and upload it, but it is just fine. I will put it at "Crater Rings (Idaho)" when I move it to the mainspace. Great job! It'll be live within 10 minutes. Gtwfan52 (talk) 05:43, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your first article!

It is right here: Crater Rings (Idaho). Great job! Gtwfan52 (talk) 05:51, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I also corrected the wikilink at List of National Natural Landmarks in Idaho. Happy editing! Gtwfan52 (talk) 06:02, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Great job on your first article. Thanks for making Wikipedia, and its coverage of Idaho, better! Gtwfan52 (talk) 05:53, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Article moved to draft

Hello, you may have noticed that I have moved an article you created to Draft:Jim Bratnober. I have done so because Wikipedia:POLITICIAN does not hold candidates to be notable until after they have won their respective elections. You can of course edit the draft without restriction, and said draft can be moved to the mainspace pending the outcome of the subject's election.--SamHolt6 (talk) 07:16, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback. The candidate in question (Jim Bratnober) does not face primary opposition. Therefore I will reconsider posting based on the results of the November election.

Nomination of Jake Ellis for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Jake Ellis is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jake Ellis until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Bearcat (talk) 23:36, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
