Two cyclists were in a wooded area when a cougar bit the head of one man. Two cyclists were in a wooded area when a cougar bit the head of one man. The other man pulled the cougar off, allowing the injured man to flee and call emergency services.[4] The other man was later killed and partly eaten by the cougar, which dragged him to its den. The men were in their 30s.[5]
