Athira Patel is an Indian film actress who mainly appears in Malayalam films. She made her acting debut in 2016 with a Sanskrit movie called Ishti. She is best known for playing the role of Vincent Pepe's (Antony Varghese) sister in the movie Angamaly Diaries.[1]
Personal life
Her first entry into acting happened through a short film, when she was studying in class VII.[2] She is currently pursuing her first year in hotel management in Wayanad, Kerala.[2] Speaking about her last name in an interview given to Deccan Chronicle, she says that her paternal grandfather was a village head in Karnataka; who are called Patelars; which is derived to Patel, her last name.[2]
