Asadal Chronicles (Korean: 아스달 연대기; RR: Aseudal Yeondaegi) is an upcoming South Korean television series directed by Kim Won-seok and written by Kim Young-hyun; starring Song Joong-ki, Kim Ji-won, Jang Dong-gun and Kim Ok-vin.[1]
Synopsis
The drama revolves around the power struggles, love and growth of the ancient city of Asadal, the capital of Gojoseon.
Cast
- Song Joong-ki as Eun Seom
- A man who was born in a Blue Stone Village inhabited by a nomadic tribe under a prophecy wrought by the energy of a blue comet. He later becomes conqueror of Asadal, taking it from city-state to empire.
- A woman born with the energy of the blue comet. She is Eun Seom's first love and later becomes the first crown princess of the empire of Asadal.
- A war hero and master of strategy.
- The first Empress of Asadal.
