Ralph Emerson Truman (May 10, 1880 – April 30, 1962) was an American general who led the 35th Infantry Division between 1940 and 1941. He was the father of Lieutenant General Louis Watson Truman who led Third U.S. Army from 1965 until 1967 and the cousin of President Harry S. Truman who also served in the 35th Infantry Division.[3][4]
