Julia Sigova (born 1982) is a Belarusian-Swedish classical concert pianist.[1][2][3][4][5]
Sigova studied piano in Minsk at Minsk State Musical College. In 2002 she moved to Malmö where she continued at Malmö Academy of Music specializing at classical concert solo performance under mentorship of Hans Pålsson[2] and graduated 2008[6].
In 2008 she was awarded a scholarship as the Best Female pianist in the Öresund Region and in 2011 she was chosen as the Best Female Artist in Sweden by Fredrika Bremer Association[6][7].
Her major performances include Piano Concerto No. 3 (Prokofiev) with Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Biennale[1] and St Martin-in-the-Fields[2]. She performs also in Copenhagen, Moscow, London[2], France, Germany, Italy and Lithuania[5].
