== Removal of credited cast members ==

I was wondering what standard do you use to unilaterally edit out entries of a credited cast member on television and film projects especially if the name of the actor appears in said production’ title or end credits? Hey there! Just letting you know that on IMDb, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are listed as writers for the first episode [1]. The Optimistic One (talk) 22:28, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

They're listed as writers for every episode because they're the creators, that's why it says "(created by)". Regardless, we don't use IMDB as a source anyway. Drovethrughosts (talk) 22:41, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Now, there's another AFC submission on the draft that i have placed. The draft, in my opinion, is solid enough to exist as an article. Let me know what you think. Thanks also for helping me out with this draft. The Optimistic One (talk) 22:17, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How about this? Jimmy McGill now suspended from the field of law for a year has to cope with Chucks death. Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) doesn’t seem impressed with her ex-boss Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian). After the attempted murder of Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis). Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) is now in Gus' (Giancarlo Esposito) bad books after the attempt to murder Hector without Gus' permission along with Mike. The Optimistic One (talk) 22:21, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I'm removing the AFC for now. Even though the draft is in a solid condition. I've decided to wait until the first few episodes come out. The Optimistic One (talk) 02:49, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article is definitely looking pretty solid. I'm thinking once we get closer to the premiere date, we'll have information on the first few episodes (to add to the episode list) and we'll be able to add a critical reception section. By then, it should be good to go. As for that blurb, some of it reads too much like a promo and is vague like "Kim doesn't seem impressed with Howard". This is simply EW writing their thoughts from the trailer, it's not a plot overview of the season. And the use of "bad books" is an WP:IDIOM, which we don't use. There's already a small plot blurb in the "Plot" section, that could just be moved to the lede instead. Drovethrughosts (talk) 12:14, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oh! I nearly forgot to tell you this; BCS airs in Ireland a day after it's US release. So i won't be able to edit the draft/page until a day after each episode airs to avoid spoilers. The Optimistic One (talk) 20:25, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Handmaid's Tale

Please explain why my edits were apparently expunged? It appears, as originally written, that it is OK to make biased political opinion comments that denigrate conservatives as if they are fact, but opinion articles that take a valid reverse position are expunged. Differences of opinion would be expected to be tolerated. TheBlackMark (talk) 22:31, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please use the appropriate talk page like I mentioned in my edit summary. Drovethrughosts (talk) 00:00, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hey!

Hey there! Any good Canadian TV show's to binge? The Optimistic One (talk) 02:19, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@The Optimistic One: Hi there! To be honest, I don't watch that much original Canadian TV. I do notice you have Trailer Park Boys listed on your user page, which is interesting since you're Irish (I believe). The Netflix seasons are fine, but those earlier seasons are just pure gold. Another good Canadian comedy I watch is Letterkenny, which has a very specific type of humor and delivery of its comedy. There's also Orphan Black, arguably one the most popular and acclaimed Canadian drama series, featuring amazing acting performances by its lead actress Tatiana Maslany, who has won an Emmy for her work. Drovethrughosts (talk) 14:03, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I really like Trailer Park Boys, especially Bubbles. Yes I am indeed Irish. I feel that there are many similarities between the Irish and the Canadians in that we are both known for how kind and generous we are to others. Thanks for the advice, I have heard of Orphan Black before and will watch it soon but never have i heard of Letterkenny being a television show. There is a big town in County Donegal, Ireland called Letterkenny though. Perhaps the best Irish comedy show ever is Father Ted, winning several awards, it was made in the 90's and has aged very well. There's also a new comedy called The Young Offenders and it's very popular here in Ireland. As for action, Love/Hate is another very good Irish TV show based on Dublin's criminal background. Peacock words

Hi you recently reverted my edit on Fargo saying that critically acclaimed is not a peacock term whereas WP:PEACOCK specifically mentions acclaimed as being an example. I replaced the term with the details in the source used to back up this claim, Metacritic. I agree that this is not the be all and end all but it was an existing source I only added the link for the 3rd season as it was missing. Critically acclaimed could mean anything and is unverifiable whereas 89/100 on metacritic means exactly that and is backed up by the source. Dom from Paris (talk) 23:56, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
