Alice Mary Prior CVO MBE DStJ JP (born 22 April 1942),[1] is the Lord Lieutenant of Bristol.[2]

She was given an honorary degree by the University of the West of England[3] and is patron or president of a number of charities based in the Bristol area.[4]

Since being appointed Lord-Lieutenant Prior has also been made chair of the Commission for Bristol and Avon Magistrates.[3]

Personal life

She is married to John and they have two children and four grandchildren.[3] They are called Ella Fletcher, Harry Fletcher, Will Meakin, Tom Meakin
